Read Between the Wines

Wine can be intimidating, from the different grape varieties to the regions they’re grown in. But in complexity lies simplicity, and we’d like to acquaint you with some of the best there is to offer, so you’re able to read between the wines with monthly masterclasses at Trishna.
 
Our Group Wine Buyer, Seamus Sharkey will host each masterclass in Trishna’s Private Dining Room bringing his 10 years of experience working as a Head Sommelier to the table. Each month he’ll explore a different wine theme presenting a flight of four wines for guests to enjoy alongside a four course lunch.

The Read Between the Wines Masterclass line-up includes:

 
Saturday 8th February – Austria
Gruner Veltliner is the quintessential wine of the country but in this masterclass we take you on a tour through Austria’s other shining stars.

Saturday 14th March – Orange Wines
Orange wine is something that’s increasingly being talked about in the world of wine and we’ll guide you through the best skin contact wines from around the world.  
 
Saturday 18th April – Everyone’s Favourite Bordeaux
Believe it or not, there are 720,000,000 bottles of Bordeaux produced a year, but surely they can’t all taste the same?
 
Saturday 16th May – Cabernet Franc
In our final Read Between the Wines masterclass we’re putting the spotlight on the Loire Valleys noble black grape, Cabernet Franc.
 
“Read Between the Wines” will be held monthly on the above dates at 1.00pm.
Tickets are priced at £80 per person which includes four glasses of wine, a four course lunch, tea, coffee and service inclusive.
