At Trishna, summer comes to life with the Mango Malai — a dessert that captures the season’s brightness and warmth. This is our ode to a most loved fruit; a harmonious blend of textures and flavours, built on balance.
It begins with a soft, pillowy base of silky Alphonso mango malai, almost cheesecake-like. With this, there’s zesty makrut lime jujubes, fresh Alphonso mango, and a cocoa nibs tuile. A final pour of mango lassi adds a tangy, creamy layer to bring everything together.
Paired with a 2012 Tokaji Szamorodni from Holdvölgy — a wine as elegant as the dessert itself — the Mango Malai is a celebration of tradition and the unique vibrancy of summer flavours. Available at Trishna until the end of summer.
